Sacred Stone - The Story

Whist visiting my own fathers grave on a cold winters day in Urmston Cemetery I couldn't help but notice how many graves still being visited by loved ones were in great need of some love and tender care to help preserve their memory, not just for those loved ones still with us, but for future generations.
My own uncle, Jack Aldcroft's grave lies in Nijmegen, Holland. He was a World War II hero killed in action in 1944. His grave is tended and maintained by volunteers from the city of Nijmegen, many of which were born generations after his passing. The dedication of those volunteers to clean headstones and tend to the graves of our fallen heroes inspired me to commit to also volunteer to preserve our fallen heroes graves in this area to keep their memory and legacy for us all to respect.
